Following the Star (Epiphany) Videos

Description

The word EPIPHANY writes itself in light. Thousands of glowing strands in white-gold, amber and deep night blue trace each letter from left to right as the camera travels alongside, then pull back to reveal the whole word. Once the word is complete, a single star appears and comes to rest above it, the way the star “stopped over the place where the child was” (Matthew 2:9).

The word is fully on screen by the eight-second mark, so your congregation has time to read it, and light keeps moving through the strands until the final frame. Use it to open worship on Epiphany Sunday, as a call to worship, or as a lead-in to the reading of Matthew 2.
