Season of Creation Opener Mini Movie

Description

Before the first hymn, before the welcome, before anyone says a word — the Earth is already singing. This mini movie opens worship by joining a song creation was singing all along: still water at pre-dawn, wind over the grass, first light on the mountains, rivers running, a forest canopy opening into full golden morning. By the time the final card reads “Welcome home,” your congregation has been gathered — not above creation, but within it.

Use it as the call to worship or service opener on any Sunday of the Season of Creation (September 1 – October 4). It is deliberately evergreen — no year-specific theme references — so it serves this September and every September after it. The liturgy on screen

An original PCM liturgy, inspired by Psalm 104:
Before there were words, there was light. · Before there were songs, there was wind over water. · The mountains were already praising. · The rivers were already running. · The whole Earth was already holy. · We gather inside that older song — not above creation, but within it. · Come, worship the God whose breath fills every living thing. · The Season of Creation begins. · Welcome home.

Every line uses expansive, inclusive language — God is never boxed into gender — and the theology is kinship with creation, never dominion over it.
