Remembrance Day Australia Video

Description

Remembrance Day Australia Video. The Australian flag fills the sky behind a field of red poppies, with the words We Remember across the center.

A Remembrance Day motion background for progressive and affirming congregations in Australia.

Australia keeps November 11 with the silence at eleven o’clock and the Ode of Remembrance, taken from Laurence Binyon’s poem For the Fallen. It is the quieter of the country’s two days of remembrance: Anzac Day falls on April 25 and carries the larger national observance, while November 11 belongs to the silence.

The background loops behind the Ode, the silence, or the prayers of the people. The artwork asserts only remembrance; what it means is yours to say.

Also available as PowerPoint and graphics.
