Remembrance Day Canada PowerPoint

Description

Remembrance Day Canada PowerPoint. The Canadian flag fills the sky behind a field of red poppies, with the words We Remember across the center.

A Remembrance Day slide set for progressive and affirming congregations in Canada.

Canada keeps November 11 with the silence at eleven o’clock, wreaths at the National War Memorial in Ottawa, and ceremonies at cenotaphs in towns across the provinces and territories. Many churches hold a service in the days before, turning toward peace and reconciliation.

Editable slides carry the names you read aloud, your scripture, and your own prayers for peace. The artwork asserts only remembrance; what it means is yours to say.

The United Church of Canada publishes worship material for the day.

Also available as a motion background and graphics.
