Remembrance Day Canada Graphics

Description

Remembrance Day Canada Graphics. The Canadian flag fills the sky behind a field of red poppies, with the words We Remember across the center.

Remembrance Day stills for progressive and affirming congregations in Canada.

Canada keeps November 11 with the silence at eleven o’clock, wreaths at the National War Memorial in Ottawa, and ceremonies at cenotaphs in towns across the provinces and territories. Many churches hold a service in the days before, turning toward peace and reconciliation.

Stills drop into the bulletin, the order of worship, projection slides, and the newsletter, so the day reads the same everywhere it appears. The artwork asserts only remembrance; what it means is yours to say.

The United Church of Canada publishes worship material for the day.

Also available as a motion background and PowerPoint.
